PTO Meeting - September 2009

Our first PTO meeting with homeroom and teacher representatives will be Tuesday, September 8 at 3:30 in the art room. If you haven’t signed-up in your child’s classroom to be a homeroom representative, please do so in the next week so that teachers and PTO board members will have many volunteers to distribute work evenly throughout the year. If you have already signed-up, we thank you and will see you at our first meeting.

Fall Fundraisers

Fall Fundraisers-

September 16- September 30

Art-to-Remember- Your child/children will submit a sheet of artwork to be turned into gift items of your choice to purchase (examples: photo frame, magnet, coffee mug). You will treasure there art work piece forever.

Our second fundraiser will run at the same time as Art-to-Remember is Charleston Wraps. You will receive two brochures to order from. One is a Kitchen and Home brochure the other a wrapping paper/Christmas items brochure. Mossy Oaks will receive 40-50% profit from your purchase orders.

The PTO has taken careful thought in choosing fundraisers this year that will be useful to purchase your Christmas items while also helping your child’s school. You will find many items under $10.00.

Luau - Thank You

MOES PTO would like to thank teachers, staff and families for making the Back-to School Luau such a great event. There was a double rainbow to surprise us that evening and everyone had such a good time swimming, eating ice-cream, and socializing. We are grateful for our teachers and parents who jumped right in to volunteer scooping ice-cream that evening.

Please be sure to patronize the businesses who donated items for the luau: Bi-Lo gift card, Coca-Cola donated soda, and the YMCA for the facility and arranging for a safe night with many life-guards on duty.
